The Weekend Carpenter gave the garage doors a complete custom restoration by removing all hardware and sending it out for a durable matte black powder coating. After thoroughly cleaning and sanding the wood surfaces, Richard applied three coats of color-matched stain—carefully sanding between each layer for a flawless finish—and reinstalled the refreshed hardware to create a striking, like-new focal point for the home.
